Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your plan at any time and it will take effect immediately. Your account will be credited on a prorated basis if you upgrade or downgrade in the middle of your monthly billing cycle. If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
What counts as a monthly active user?
A monthly active user (MAU) is counted as the number of unique users that take part in at least one Splitforce experiment in your mobile app.
What happens if I include more users than my plan includes?
If you end up including more MAU in an experiment than your plan allows us, we’ll charge the lesser of a prorated overage fee at the same cost per MAU of your current plan OR a higher-tiered plan (whichever is less costly).
Are there discounts for long-term engagements?
Yes. We offer 25% off the two year plan, 10% off the one year plan, and 5% off the six month plan. Want to sign up for longer? No ask-y, no get-y!
What coding knowledge is required to use Splitforce?
After setting up the Splitforce SDK, no technical expertise is required. We empower product managers, marketers and analysts to create and test their ideas using their browser, and without having to involve developers.
What will I need to install in my app?
To use Splitforce you will need to install the Splitforce SDK, available for iOS, Android and Unity. Our SDKs handle all the logic required for running A/B tests in the unique context of native mobile apps, from randomized user cohorting to specific user targeting, and rules for what happens when the app is offline.
Will Splitforce affect the performance of my app?
We’ve built our SDKs so that they quietly become dormant in the unlikely event that a connection to our backend cannot be established, leaving your app running as it would have without Splitforce. Our backend architecture is built on top of the most available and reliable web services in the world.
